While visiting some friends in Racine, Wisconsin this past summer I happened into an art gallery where I saw the most exquisite wood turned art pieces. After meeting with the artist Hank Bardenhagen, I asked him if he ever made cheese serving platters from the unique wood he procures. I'm proud to offer a very limited collection of his cheese platters which he made specifically for the avid cheese lover and cheese maker. Each platter is approximately 13 inches (33cm) or slightly more. Naturally finished for serving any kind of food. Easy to clean with damp cloth*. Hank uses granite, marble or onyx as the insert and he signs each cheese platter on the back delicately etched.

A sad note: Hank passed away shortly after he delivered 24 cheese platters to me. He was very excited about providing me with additional platters he hand makes. So the three platters below are the last of them. I will miss him and his fine workmanship.
