On Wednesday February 22, 2012 everyone is invited to help with The Raw Milk Lobby Day at the Capitol.
YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT IS NEEDED FOR SB108, THE RAW MILK BILL.
The Wisconsin Raw Milk Association and their lobbyist will be coordinating the morning's efforts, and ask that you come out in full force to help educate your legislators that morning on the benefits of raw milk and how it can be produced safely for human consumption.
We will meet in the Capitol Rotunda at 10:00 am to receive final instructions from the lobbyist. But some work needs to be done by you first. Please contact your State Representative and Senator beforehand to schedule an appointment with them for the late morning of February 22nd. Further instructions and talking points will be issued as the date nears.
In the mean time the Wisconsin Raw Milk Association is requesting that we immediately start a letter to the editor writing campaign in support of SB 108 the Raw Milk Bill.
THE OPPOSITION BY THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX THIS TIME AROUND IS ALARMINGLY HUGE AND WELL FUNDED. WE DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY THAT THE CONVENTIONAL DAIRY INDUSTRY HAS, BUT WE DO HAVE THE ABILITY TO MEET ONE ON ONE WITH OUR REPRESENTATIVES AND EDUCATE THEM ABOUT WHY WE WANT RAW MILK DECRIMINALIZED. WE THE PEOPLE STILL HAVE A VOICE, LET US UNIFY AND PROCLAIM RAW MILK LIBERTY FOR ALL ON FEBRUARY 22, 2012.
