When making some forms of cheese it is important to use a pH meter to test the acidity of your curds. The pHep 4 is a great quality pH meter for making your own cheese at home. The pHep®4 tester is for DIY cheese making that requires accuracy while staying economical.

 

The pHep 4 is the newest pH meter made by Hanna Instruments. This model has BEPS (Battery Error Prevention System) as well as user selectable automatic shut-off, replacable pH electrode cartridge, stability indicator and automatic calibration. It is already calibrated at the factory yet always a good idea to recalibrate when you receive it.  Takes less than 5 minutes. Includes two small bottles of storage and cleaning solution, which are very much needed.  This pH Meter arrives calibrated at the factory, yet you will want to order the 4.0 and 7.0 calibration solution packets**
