CHEESE WAX; 1 LB YELLOW (CHEDDAR) or RED WAX Individually wrapped in plastic wrap.
This specially formulated (food grade) cheese wax is flexible and will not peel or crack.

USING YOUR CHEESE WAX:
First, melt the wax. Low heat to 210F; use single or double boiler method. Do not allow wax to come in contact with flame.
Apply by either:
- Brushing on two thin layers. Allow the first layer to harden, and apply the second sparingly to cover any open areas or pinholes.
- 'Dipping' your cheese wheel into the wax, allow to harden and turn and dip again.
Make sure the cheese is at room temperature prior to waxing.
Use a natural bristle (boar bristle) brush.
(DO NOT USE NYLON OR PLASTIC BRUSHES AS THEY WILL MELT).
