MESOPHILIC STARTER CULTURE 'MSC' PLUS BUTTERY NOTES

 

Mesophilic Starter MSC PLUS is a Mesophilic Starter culture ideal for making Plant and Nut based cheese.
MSC Plus contains added strains for 'buttery notes. This product is not 'vegan' - contains milk/lactose (used as a fermentation nutrient in production)

 

Provides excellent fermentation for plant and nut based milks used in making cheese and butter recipes calling for a mesophilic starter.

 

For those with MILK / LACTOSE allergies or sensitivies 

*Milk / Lactose present as an allergen:  This product is produced using milk / lactose as a fermentation nutrient.

 

 

similar to 'MSC' with added strain Leuconostoc mesenteroides subsp. cremoris

for buttery notes.

 

For home use in making Plant and Nut Based Cheeses

 24 Batch Packet ;  use 1/8 tsp per 1-2 gallon batch

 

 

 

OPTIONS WITH PURCHASE:

  • Our Small/Nut Bag size draining bag will accommodate up to 1/2 -1 gallon batches while our Larger Light Duty bag will accommodate up to 5-7 gallons.
  • Order small volume measuring spoons as an option; 5 spoons from   1/32nd teaspoon - 1/4 teaspoon (necessary for small culture measurements)

 

Envelope good for 24 batches with up to 4 cups nuts or 14 oz Plant based milk

    The cashew milk I fermented with this product was tart and delicious. With coconut, shea butter, avocado oils made delicious cultured tasting butter! Yum! so easy!
