Product Description

Reusable Cheese Cloth 2 sq.yards(1.67 sq. meters). Rinse in cold water and sanitize before reusing. Details about available options below.

A few tips:  Press the curds in the mould or press hoop for an hour or until the cheese can be taken from the mould/hoop without falling apart. Then, dress with cheese cloth.  I like to cut the cloth in a circular shape to fit slightly over the top and bottom of any round cheese.  This method eliminates creases in your cheese.   After using, I clean the cloth and sanitize in cold water using Star San non-rinse sanitizerDepending on your washing method, you may notice some minor shrinkage in the length of the unbleached cloth.

  1. I love this cloth!

Posted by Laura on 19th Jun 2019

I use both the 90 and the 50 for cheese making. I use the 90 for lining molds, hanging chèvre, and draining ricotta. I use the 50 for bandaging cheeses for aging.

I have used PlyBan II in the past, and it would eventually rip at the most inopportune time. This cloth lasts and lasts.
Note from Steve/TheCheeseMaker: Great to hear about our cheesecloths. PlyBan II does have it use for bandaging as it is anti-microbial and anti-mold.

  2. Great cloth!
