    Deluxe Mozzarella Kit

Posted by Leah on 7th Feb 2021

I always wanted to try making homemade mozzarella and this kit made it so easy. There’s enough of everything you need to make multiple batches, which is great because now that I’ve tried it once, I can’t wait do it again!! I am grateful for other reviews, and as suggested, I watched a few videos first and then made my attempt. If it’s your first time, it’s not a bad idea. Great product and great customer service! ======================= Thanks Leah! Enjoy !!

    First Time was a success!

Posted by Nora Sullivan on 8th Jan 2020

My first time making cheese. The kit was all I needed to get started. The instructions were easy to follow and the cheese turned out nice, but I may need to make it a few more times to get really good at it.

I personally can't review this product because it was given as a gift but I can say the recipient was very excited and couldn't wait to try making homemade cheese! I am thinking I will get my own kit to try it out for myself

    first try

Posted by Cecile Manny on 4th Sep 2017

Not to be discouraging but the first try for me did not set up well. Most likely the whole milk I used was not the best to use for mozzarella. Since then, I have found a source for whole non-homogenized organic milk. I am not able to buy non pasteurized milk locally. Some parts of the instructions were not clear so watching a you tube video helped. I did like the kit.

    Better instructions

Posted by Dee on 5th Jan 2017

As a first time mozzarella maker, I had a hard time making out the directions provide. I had to go on the net to clarify the times and amounts. If you could simplify your process and eliminate the extraneous copy, it would help. My first batch of cheese tastes great, however the texture of the final product was a bit gritty. I will that my next batch will be much better.

    Cheese Kit

This is the way to go if you are just starting to make cheese. I have been doing it for a year but found this kit cost less than buying individual items.
