Our Deluxe Mozzarella & Ricotta Kit is starter kit for making cheese or for any Mozzarella lover! Includes everything one needs to make many many batches of freshly made Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese. Easy to follow instructions. You supply the milk and warming kettle. Kit includes: 4 oz. Kosher cheese salt, 4 oz. Kosher citric acid, 1 oz. liquid calcium chloride, 10 microbial(non animal) rennet tablets, 2 yards reusable cheese cloth, 1 calibrated thermometer and one reusable large ricotta basket and recipes. Our Kitincludes an easy to read large dial thermometer, French made draining basket Mould, plus Citric Acid, Cheese Salt, and lots of Rennet tablets to get you started making many batches of Mozzarella. All ingredients can be reordered on our site.
This kit allows for the making of fast batches of Mozzarella!
Many cheesemakers also enjoy making 'Cultured Mozzarella', where a Culture is added to acidify the milk. This takes longer, but does add flavor and texture!

The Rennet Tablets are not Kosher. We can substitute 1 oz of ChyMax Extra liquid kosher rennet if you leave us a note at checkout.
This Kit does not require refrigeration unless you chose the Liquid Rennet substitution.
Milk: DO NOT USE ULTRA PASTEURIZED; Use either raw milk, non-homogenized whole milk or whole milk with 1/20 part heavy cream(can be ultra-pasteurized).
