About This Product

Make your own Camembert, Baby Brie, and Blue cheese at home.

Makes eight cheeses:  4- Camembert or Brie cheeses and 4- Blue Cheeses (reorder additonal 'ready to use' Culture/Mold/Rennet packages on our site!)

We highly recommend you choose to add the OPTIONAL hard copy book 'Camembert, Brie & Blue Cheese Making Guide' 



The kit contains the following and will make 4 Camembert/Brie and 4 Blue Cheeses

 If you are NEW to making Cheese; refer to our ‘Basics of Cheese Making’ Notes and follow Recipes! 


  • (2) ea Pre-Mixed Cam/Brie Culture/Mould ‘Packet 1’  Use 1 packet/gallon of milk to make 2 cheeses from each packet
  • (2) Pre-Mixed Blue Cheese Culture/Mould ‘Packet 1’ Use 1 packet/ 2 gal of milk to make 2 cheeses from each packet
  • You can reorder pre-mixed Cam/Brie or Blue Packets on our site!

  • (4) Packets of pre-measured Veal Calf RENNET (‘Packet 2’ for use with either ‘Packet 1’; use 1 packet per batch
  • (1) 1 oz. Liquid Calcium Chloride (use for homogenized milk- see ‘Basics’ notes)
  • (1) 4 oz Kosher Cheese Salt to ‘salt and age’ your cheeses



  • (1) Stainless Steel Curd Knife for cutting /cubing curds in the milk pot
  • (1) Stainless Steel Curd Scooper for scooping out curds
  • (1) Large Dial Thermometer; monitor your milk’s temperature



(2) Soft Cheese Camembert/ Blue Cheese Hoop Mould to form your curds



  • (1) Plastic Aging Container / Small – easily fits in most refrigerators
    • Includes draining platform and draining mat (hand wash-do not run in dishwasher)
    • (8) ea 10” x 10” Double Ply White Rind Wrapping Sheets
    • (8) ea 9” x 9” Blue Cheese Foil wrapping sheets
    • (2) ea Wooden Gift Boxes 4” diameter

    Great kit for getting started. Has everything you need except a large pot 6-10 Qt and milk. Has enough ingredients to make a few batches. Nice way to see if you are really into making your own cheese. For the most part, it's easy....a bit of patience required, let the cheese ripen.
