Mesohphilic Starter MSC is great for for longer aged Plant Based cheeses like Blues, Cashew Camemberts etc.

For  Plant and Nut Based cheese making at home.

 

*Vegan / Lactose disclaimer: This product is produced using lactose as a fermentation nutrient.

For those with LACTOSE allergies or sensitivies lactose is fermented out of the final product during

production; however LACTOSE MAY BE PRESENT in the final product.

It is not produced in a vegan certified facility.

This culture will ferment Plant Based Milks used for Vegan/ Plant / Nut based cheese fermentation

Use in place of rejuvelac or probiotic capsules, or with recipes that call for a Mesophilic Starter Culture.

  • Our Small/Nut Bag size draining bag will accommodate up to 1/2 -1 gallon batches while our Larger Light Duty bag will accommodate up to 5-7 gallons.
  • Order small volume measuring spoons as an option; 5 spoons from   1/32nd teaspoon - 1/4 teaspoon (necessary for small culture measurements)

    Been using cheesemaker mesophilic starter sometime and a great start for non dairy cheese making.
