This Kosher Non-Iodized commercial salt is the same salt used by many of Wisconsin's cheesemakers. It is a semi-coarse salt, excellent for cheese making. This salt makes and excellent brine for brining your hard cheeses like Gouda, Parmesan and Emmental. Click here to view the Brine Calculator. Using our custom made Salinometer/Salometer to accurately measure the salt concentration in your brine is important.

    I know you can use other salt products, but this works great and it is worth the few extra $'s..for cheese salt this is a very good buy.
