These cultures are popular for ferrmenting nut milks and produce results very similar to dairy cheese / butter in terms of
fermentation. They CAN CONTAIN SOME LACTOSE as they are produced using lactose as a fermentation ingredient.
Lactose is fermented out during production but some may be present in the final product. If the presense or use of lactose
during production is an issue please visit the tab VEGAN NON-DAIRY cultures.
These cultures are MESOPHILIC Starters and there is not currently a 100% Vegan option for Mesophilic starters.
